our bespoke process

1. CONSULTATION & COMISSIONING

After you set your appointment we will meet you at our shop & invite you to relax in our custom lounge. Relax in sumptuous furniture & sip on something from the bar or have an espresso if you prefer. Here you will select from 1000s of fabrics from the world's top mills. Once you have selected your cloth we will take a series of measurements, photographs & detailed notes on your specific postural requirements. We will then discuss stylistic details of your bespoke garments with you. Being that all of our bespoke garments are drawn, cut & made by hand there is no limit on what we can design for you. Your information will then be sent to our tailors in Italy & your pattern will then be drawn & cut by hand. The garment is then hand crafted into a temporary fitting stage known as a basted try on. This try on will then move us on to your next stage...

2. FIRST FITTING

Roughly 6 -8 weeks after your initial consultation, we will receive your basted garment. The garment will be in a "rough stage" where white temporary stitching & canvas will be exposed. During this fitting stage, which gives us our most control over your final outcome, we hone the fit further of your garment directly on your body. Additional notes are taken & the garment is shipped back to our tailors in Italy for further fine tuning. Plan for your garment to take roughly another 4-5 before the next stage...

3. SECOND FITTING

Your garment is nearing its finishing. Here any final adjustments will be addressed. Sleeve length finishing with working button holes, trouser length, a nip or a tuck in a few other spots are what this final fitting stage is all about. For more complex fits a 3rd fitting may be required. All of our custom finishing in done on site with our team of in house tailors. This final process typically takes 1-2 weeks to complete.

4. FINISHING & DELIVERY

Finally, your garment is completed & ready for delivery. Packed inside one of our complimentary garment bags & ready for your next trip, event or day at the office. All of our bespoke garments consist of a hand drawn pattern & are hand cut & handmade. Each of our clients individual patterns are kept on file for any future needs. The canvas used for our bespoke garments is crafted by hand for each piece (excluding unconstructed jackets, which do not utilize a canvas). This is the ultimate form of old world custom tailoring & we are proud to offer this service to you.
