From the inside out, Marc Allen has expanded its offerings & style...
Our aim with the expansion was to expand our footprint in the world of high end menswear. While we have always carried every category of clothing a man could need (or want), it was largely compressed within the old shop. Now with the new shop we have around 4 times the sizes to let our categories breath & our clients relax.
Housed inside of a former Cable Car repair station; we did our best to retain some of the buildings original heritage. You will find the original rails (covered with wood) in the flooring. We are all about the little details throughout the new shop.
While the retail showroom & ready to wear offerings have expanded, the custom lounge has as well. From the custom made leather sofa to the Eames Lounge Chair, a mid century modern feel was always in mind. While combining an old west meets Italian aesthetic to the exterior, we wanted to emulate a clean/minimal look on the inside & reflect some of the showroom vibes we experience while in Milan. We added our own fun touches like the bar, PS5 & flatscreen, & Sonos surround sound throughout the entire shop. In the end we want it to look inviting, stylish, clean & most definitely fun.
The custom lounge boasts an even larger offering of custom fabrics for your made to measure or bespoke custom suits, jackets, tuxedos, outerwear, trousers, jeans & shirts. We also offer custom made trousers from Rota Pantaloni Di Sartoria, Custom handmade shirts from 100 Hands, custom jeans from Sartoria Tramarossa, Custom made jackets, shirts & suits from both Kiton and Sartorio. Wash it all down with a glass of bourbon or scotch, or anything else you might like from the bar. Or wake up in the am (or pm) with our Italian espresso with freshly ground beans with each cup. On sunny days many of our regular clients enjoy a cigar out front as they lounge on our teak furniture from Kingsley Bate... our own Marc Allen concrete beach club... we offer a humidor at the bar to house your smokes if you like.
The retail showroom has had several new lines added, and many more on the way. We have you well covered in anything from underwear & T shirts to handmade sport shirts, denim, luxury knitwear, sporty Italian outerwear, travel gear, accessories & so very much more. The inventory is routinely refreshed & turned over completely twice per year. Our Spring/Summer collection begins arriving typically in December & January thru April. The Fall/Winter collection around July thru October. We have increased our trips & contacts in Italy to bring you more unique, hard time find, makers every season.
